ALPHA HYDROX do not use it

I would not advise using Alpha Hydroxy on your older (or younger of course) kids. My 12 year old daughter had some tiny Keratosis Pilaris on her cheeks, and I had read that alpha hydroxy could possibly clear it up. We purchased the product from http://www.neotericcosmetics.com/ we purchased the 'White Line' which is supposed to be more gentle. She first used the face wash that came with the line, followed by the 8% AHA - and after the alpha hydroxy, followed with the moisturizer (also part of the line). The first evening the only reaction was that her face felt like it was burning slightly, red and somewhat itchy (these side effects are listed in the directions to be normal) so the next evening we used it again - big mistake- when she woke up the next morning she had thousands of tiny bumps all over her entire face and neck (everywhere she used these products), It felt so rough and her skin went from being smooth and beautiful, flawless to looking like bumpy chicken skin ! I was so upset with these products, and we stopped using them immediately. It is now 8 days later and her face still has the chicken skin texture - I can't believe it did not go away, and feel so bad that she had this happen.
